The series, to me, are like non-canon to the "Stargate" original saga ( the movie );
this doesn't mean I don't like it. ^W^b
It's just different.
I love the designs by Tatopoulos in the film, which are sadly absent in the episodes.
Then, a lot of the strengths of the movie aren't there too, like the different, ancient and unknown languages of the people on other planets, which caused so much trouble in the film.
To me, this one is RA.
It's awesome.
